Bike Tours

bike tourFree guided bicycle tours are led by trained guides who explain the architectural features and history during stops at significant buildings on the tour.

Bring your own bicycle and helmet. Each rider must wear a helmet during the tour. This is a family activity. There is no age restriction. A trained guide will explain the architectural features and history at significant buildings.

Bike tours starts in the Post Office parking lot at Third Street between Court Street. Each tour lasts about 60-90 minutes.

9 AM – Long Tour: This tour starts at 9:00 am and is around four miles. The tour travels to the Historic Woodland Train Depot, the “ Boat” House, Roselawn, the Historic City Cemetery and Reiff’s Antique Gas Station and Automotive Museum.

11 AM – Short Tour: This tour starts at 11:00 am and is about two miles. Attractions include College and First Street Victorian homes, Craftsman Bungalows, Tudor style homes, the Gable Mansion and the “Horseshoe House”.
