Community Care Car Van

To help reduce vehicle traffic in historic neighborhoods and make the Stroll Through History a more pedestrian-friendly event, Community Care Car, Inc. will operate two FREE shuttle routes this Saturday, September 9th.

For more information regarding shuttle schedules, contact Community Care Car at 662-7800, go to the information booth in Heritage Plaza on Stroll Day or see the schedule on the southwest corner of Second and Main Streets.

The Stroll Through History Committee would like to thank Community Care Car, Inc for this service on Stroll Day. Throughout the Year, Community Care Car, Inc. provides transportation for senior citizens and mental health clients at no cost, within the city limits of Woodland, to and from medical, dental and legal appointments, beauty or barber shops, visits to spouse or relative in a hospital or nursing home, shopping, banking, Social Security, Senior Center, Concilio, Employment and Social Services Department, library and post office. Its income is derived from donations for rides.

Activities include: Open home tours of beautiful classic homes, free guided walking tours of historic neighborhoods, free musical entertainment, a pancake breakfast, boxed lunches, antique vehicle displays, period costumes, and much more!
